Eight Cal Poly students are heading to Malta and Sicily in March to launch their underwater robots and explore ancient water systems and marine caves.

Cal Poly Engineering celebrates National Engineers Week (eWeek), February 19-22, with the theme “Innovate Your Dreams,” which showcases the practical as well as visionary applications of the school’s Learn by Doing approach.
As part of National Engineers Week, Cal Poly’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) visits local fourth grade classrooms to teach students about the field of engineering and conduct hands-on science demonstrations. By reaching out, SWE members hope to get students interested in math, science and all things related to engineering.
