The Order of the Engineer is an association for graduate and professional engineers in the United States that emphasizes pride and responsibility in the engineering profession. It is not a membership organization; there no meetings to attend or dues to pay. Instead, the Order fosters a unity of purpose and the honoring of one's pledge.
At the ceremony, you will take an oath in which you promise to be an ethical engineer. Then, you will be inducted with a ring and certificate. The ring is worn on your pinky finger of your dominate hand. It will make a *clink* noise when you sign you name of documents which will remind you to always be an ethical engineer.
You can register here or at the Engineering Dean's Office before May 31st! To get your ring size and submit the payment for the ceremony, please stop by the Dean's Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
